Located in the heart of Jakarta, where the space is premium, this apartment is designed to accommodate a young couple with one children. With the limited space available, the design that I create should be able to facilitate various activities the user do in the unit, yet still feel spacious and airy.

Proper storage is necessary to achieve a tidy, less cluttered look. Every parents know that having kids mean ample storage space is vital. To provide adequate storage and tuck away all the clutters, I designed custom cabinetries and under bed storages. Having furniture that can have double functions, or tucking in furniture into another frees up space.

I'm lucky that the client loves white. Glossy finish on top of white paint reflects lights and brighten the room. Strategically placed mirror is another trick I have up my sleeve to create an illusion of extra space. By combining the result of ample storage, finishing decision and mirror effect, I am able achieve an airy and spacious feel, yet functional.
