The client wanted a bright and dry bathroom that fits his aesthetic, which is white with subway tiles arranged in herringbone pattern. The bathroom needs to be able to store bathroom supplies along with cleaning tools. The compactness of the bathroom dictates custom lavatory and under cabinet. Having the cabinet hung, the floor space can be used to hide bucket and easier to dry the floor. Herringbone is strategically placed on areas that would be seen when the client enter the bathroom, while the rest of the walls are covered in subway tiles in normal running bone arrangement to prevent too much irregularity which can feel chaotic that can be amplified in such a small space.
